I love creating digital papers! When working with pattens I like to have my patterns follow the contours of any folds or creases in my paper, creating a more realistic look than I might be able to achieve with blending modes. This technique can be performed manually, but an Action makes this process easier and faster.
Take a look at these samples. The one of the left was created using a blending mode, and the one on the right with my Warp It Action for Papers. You can see that the stripes on the sample using blending mode are still straight, while the stripes on the sample using the Warp It Action follow the contours of the folds and creases.
Each action set contains 5 different warp actions. Warp 1 provides the least warp, Warp 2 slightly more warp, and so on. For this demonstration, I used Warp 1. The warp you choose will depend upon the type of paper and the type of pattern you are working with. The Action runs in mere seconds. So it’s easy to try a Warp, and if you don’t like it, simply discard it and choose another level of warping.

Here is the preview for the Warp It Action for Text & Shapes. This action will take your text and/or shapes and process them the same way the Warp It for Paper actions does, giving them realistic contours.
