I love buttons! It’s not surprising since my mother taught me to sew at age 9, and sewing has been part of my life since that time. I always include buttons in my scrapbook kits and sometimes have to stop myself from adding too many! In scrapbooking, I use buttons in a number of different ways. I like to use them to anchor photos to my background papers or to anchor several papers together. They make a cute addition to the corner of a photo frame, or in place of the letter “O” in a page title. Buttons can be tucked into clusters to add color or interest, or used to tack down ribbons or ricrac. There are just sooo many things you can do with buttons!
I became even more obsessed with buttons this last week, and started extracting some of my favorites to use in upcoming scrapbook kits. I have 2 packages of Vintage Buttons in my stores now, and will have more coming. Although these buttons are “CU friendly,” they are perfect for the personal scrapper too!
