I’m showing you a preview of the collection as the best value but, of course, separates are also available. I just love the palette and all of the sparkle, perfect for your holiday pages or your everyday pages as well.
I’ll get right to the purpose of my post now and begin with this gorgeous page from Norma. Converting the photo to black and white means it matches the gray flowers perfectly. I love that she kept the photo large and masked it to place the focus on the face. The painted and shadowed flowers create a semi-circle around the photo and the word art is perfectly placed to serve as the title. I like the way she added the starburst and the star sprinkles which creates a luminous look to the layout.
I like the monochromatic look of Glori’s layout. The blacks and grays really make the green leaves and gold frame pop. Placing her title and journaling both above and below the photo, enhances her vertical design. The shadowed leaves placed both on the top and bottom edges draw the eye down the entire layout. The doily brush is one of my favorite elements in the collection and combining it with the text is lovely. The trail of butterflies and flowers completes the layout just right.
I know I’ve said it before but I’m continually amazed at the variety of layouts I find using a single Snickerdoodle Designs’ Collection. I love the gold background paper in this layout by britnkaysmemaw. The masked photo is delightful and I like the way she selectively framed the bird. Her clusters are beautifully shadowed and I like the way the ribbon continues to frame the masked photo. Using the tiny bird element supports her theme and the word art she chose works so well for her title.
Kabra combined the black and gold elements and papers so effectively in her layout. As always a photo taken from behind is quite engaging. The marbled paper she selected for her background is so pretty. I love the multiple framing of the photo and the way she placed the banner across the top. Her cluster is large and gorgeous and the word art balances it perfectly.
I really like all the blending and masking in this layout by franlk. The geometric background paper which fades into a less defined pattern is actually included in the kit. The silhouetted photo of the couple gives a mysterious look to the page. I like the way the starburst and scatter contrast so well with the black paper. Adding the single, large leaf atop her pretty cluster is an unusual touch that adds an artsy look to her layout.
I’ve come to the end of my post hoping to have encouraged you to do some creating of your own this week. If you have some celebratory photos this collection would be perfect for them as you can see based on the samples above. Thanks and have a great week!
