A new photo editing class is starting at Papers and Pixels. The class will be taught by Priss, Karen, and Traci – three extremely talented and skilled women. Their credentials are impressive! They have taught or are teaching Photoshop at the university level, as well as having published numerous Photoshop tutorials on both digital editing and digiscrapping subjects.
Here is a brief description of what to expect:
WHAT TO EXPECT
The focus of this basic course in Adobe Photoshop Elements is to build a foundation of knowledge and to learn some fundamentals in the three main areas of the pixel-based environment of Photoshop: image preparation, image editing, and image creation. You’ll explore the Photoshop (Editor) workspace, and become familiar with the functions of the tools, option bars, and palettes. You’ll learn the basic fundamentals by studying examples, doing exercises, and following simple step-by-step instructions for practical projects. You will have online private forums for interacting with the instructor and other students,–participation is absolutely essential– one-to-one assistance as needed, video tutorials, pdf materials, and specific assignments that will guide you through the FUNdamentals of Photoshop.
Note: This class will not address using Photoshop Elements’ Organizer or Photoshop’s Bridge
