Good evening and happy Friday! Welcome to my weekly newsletter. I have some fun things to share with you this evening!
A member of my creative team, msbrad, created a fabulous layout with my Smooth Sailing kit! I loved it so much, I wanted to share it with you. Also, I thought with beach weather and vacations coming up, you might enjoy being able to pick up Smooth Sailing at a bargain price, so I have put it on sale at the Den and my personal store for 50% off – that’s just $1.99 – until Monday, the 13th.
And if you haven’t seen the kit, here it is:
(There are coordinating Quick Pages and Photoshop Styles also available).
And here is a free gift for you to get your summer scrapping started!
I also have two new products that I would like to let you know about!
Have you ever heard the phrase “goody-two-shoes?” Did you know that the phrase actually comes from a children’s story published in 1765? In brief, the story tells about little Margery, who is orphaned at a very young age. After sleeping in barns and eating nothing but berries that grew in the woods, Margery was taken into the home of the local clergyman. She had only one shoe and the clergyman’s wife bought her a pair. Margery was so thrilled with her “two shoes!” As she grew, she became well known for her kindness and good deeds. The story ends: “Her life was a great blessing, and her death the greatest calamity that ever took place in the neighborhood where she lived.” And she was remembered ever after as “Goody Two Shoes.” I have 8 color illustrations from this storybook, which will be great additions to any scrapping stash! Their vibrant colors and rich textures work perfectly for altered art! But they also work well for vintage layouts, greeting cards, and anything else you can think of! Also included is an abr file, in case you would like to stamp these images for a different look!
