Hi all; it’s Beatrice here! SnickerdoodleDesigns has a new collection, “Love Yourself,” and I’m excited to feature it on the blog today. As always, the collection is packed with papers and elements, both whimsical and lovely. I’m showing you the entire collection here, but separates are available as well. Of course the bundle is the best value. You can read more about the collection and see pictures of the individual parts in Karen’s blog post here.

I honestly had a difficult time choosing layouts from among the many that were created with Love Yourself. I hope to do a future blog post and show you more gorgeous samples.
The story in Love Yourself-Age Can’t Stop You by Chrissy drew me right in. I really like the stacked papers that frame the layout and the fact that she included a scan of the news article, as well as the masked photo of her mother. The clusters in opposite corners are lovely, and the bead scatter adds just the right touch. The word art included in the collection works perfectly as the title for her page.
Broken Objects by Jenni is a stunning white-space layout, and it features one of my favorite journal cards from the collection. I also love the paper she chose. The bits of red on the edges mimic the flower scatter perfectly, creating a cohesive look to the page. The bordered paper is one that is included in the collection. I really like the perfectly shadowed, large floral cluster atop the small masked photo. No added embellishments are necessary.
I really like the way msbrad blended several of the papers in the collection in her layout, Love Us. She was able to create her own paper to support her theme of both romance and travel. I like the tilt to the framed photo and the angled title/journaling below. Her clusters are scattered about the page creating a whimsical look, and I like the way she incorporated so many of the word strips.
Magical You by franlk is exactly that, a magical page. I like the way she both extracted and masked the photo. It looks to me like she also blended several of the papers to create her background. I love the way she incorporated the wreath by placing it around the mask. The flower cluster she added extends the wreath across the bottom. The way she placed the word strips reinforces the half circle created by the wreath and clusters. The painted photo effect is just perfect for her layout.
I like the monochromatic look of Love Yourself by modgee. The photo is outstanding, and I love the way she kept it large and masked it with the paper to create her background. The touches of red and pink really stand out against the predominately blue page. The bits of clustering and paint add without detracting from the photo. I like the way she placed the card on a diagonal from the word strips, and the kiss imprint is a great finishing touch to support her theme.
Before I finish my post I want to be sure you grab the freebie Karen showed in her blog post here. In case you missed it I’ll add it again. Simply click the image to download the beautiful cluster.
I’ve tried to show you a variety of pages, all using this gorgeous and robust collection. I hope I have inspired you as much as I am inspired by these layouts. Thanks and have a great week!
