Happy Monday! It’s me, Beatrice, and I’m excited to be back on the blog after a two-week break. Today I’ll be featuring layouts using SnickerdoodleDesigns’ newest collection, Celebrate Life. This collection is absolutely breathtaking. I hope by showing you a variety of layouts you can get an idea of how truly gorgeous the collection is.

There is a lot going on in New Years Day 2017 by Jenni yet the net effect is uncluttered and the focus remains on the photo. I really love the way she incorporated the journal cards and word art, even placing it atop her photo. Stacking the balloons over the empty spot in the journal card is very effective. Keeping the champagne bottle and glass large emphasizes her celebratory theme. The paint, scatters and clusters finish off the layout just right.
Robin used one of my favorite papers as the background for her layout Celebrate Together. The clustered border down the left-hand side is so pretty and perfectly shadowed. Keeping the word art large balances the cluster, as does the small bit of journaling in the bottom corner. The photo is darling, and the framing is delicate and perfect for the photo.
The texture in the blended photo in Celebrate Life by franlk gives her page the look of an artist’s canvas. I really like the monochromatic look with just a few pops of pink. The cluster in the upper corner is perfectly balanced with the arrows in the bottom corner, which also lead the eye to the subject of her page. What a lovely quote she chose to serve as her journaling. (This quote is included in the Celebrate Life Word pack.) Finally, the large date across the bottom is very eye-catching.
I love the layout design in Celebrate Life by cutiejo1. The multi-generational photos are precious and framing them with a simple white stroke makes them stand out. The gold journal card contrasts so well with the black solid paper framing the photos, and the flag pin attaching it to the layout is the perfect addition. The cluster is gorgeous and I like the way it wraps around the side and corner of the layout. The stitched arrows lead the eye into the layout, and the cluster of balloons adds a festive touch.
Norma chose the most effective paper for the background in her layout entitled Journey. I love the swirls in the paper, which definitely draw the eye into the layout. The photo in black, white and grays blends in perfectly. The brightly colored cluster across the bottom is so pretty and contrasts with the monochromatic look of the background and photo. The bits of blended text are the perfect finishing touch.
It wasn’t easy to narrow down my choices to these five so I hope to be back next week with even more inspiring layouts. Before I close I want to be sure you download the freebie matching the collection that Karen offered in an earlier blog post. I’ll add it again here now. Simply click the image to download the beautiful cluster created by Kabra.
And until Thursday (January 5th) you can also download this freebie, exclusive to MyMemories. It’s PNG and JPG format, so any program that uses those formats will be able to use this freebie! (Just put it into your cart and checkout!).
I hope you have a great week and don’t forget to, as the title of this collection reminds us, “Celebrate Life”!
