If you have been using Photoshop or Photoshop Elements for a while, you probably use Blend Modes or have heard about them.
Blend Modes change how 2 layers interact with one other, and by using different Blend Modes we can create totally different looks.
If you are new to using Blend Modes, here is an excellent article, Blending Modes Explained- The Complete Guide to Photoshop Blend Modes, by Photoshop Training Channel, that explains just what they are and how to use them.
My new Messy Twine can be used as-is, but really shine when used with Blend Modes.
Here is an example done in a beautiful layout by CTM Glori. She has used Messy Twine behind the #16. The Twine adds subtle interest while not detracting from her entire page.
Here is another example, created for you by LindaF. She didn’t use a blend mode on her Messy Twine pieces. I really like how they added movement to her page.
Linda used Playful Autumn in her layout.
Here is a sample of Messy Twine for you to experiment with. Just click on the image below to download. This Sample comes with a PNG file; while the complete Messy Twine comes with both PNGs and a ABR File.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you enjoy experimenting with this sample!
