Last week I was contacted by a friend and designer Manu Scraps. She had created an awesome Doily and Snowflake Generator Action, and was looking for my Irish Lace Styles to use with her end products. My Irish Lace Styles 01 have been retired, but after seeing the incredible results Manu was getting with her Action, I felt absolutely compelled to create some new Lace Styles.
Let’s take a look at all three products, and then see they work together.
My Irish Lace Styles 02 are available at an introductory 30% savings and are available at:
You will find Manu’s Doily and Snowflake Generator Action at theStudio.
She has extended the sale on her action, since I just released these Styles! Yea!!
And you can find Jill’s Filigree Maker Action at:
Jill has placed her action on sale for you too!
Now let’s see how three 3 products work together.
Here is a doily, that Jill created using Manu’s action, she then applied one of my lace styles to it. Isn’t it gorgeous? It looks so real!!! Jill used one of my Irish Lace Overlays and one of my Irish Lace Borders. Both are retired products, but after seeing Jill’s work here, I’m just got to bring them out of retirement! I LOVE what she did here!
Here is a doily that designer, Vicki Robinson, (Studio Vicki Robinson) created using Manu’s Action.
And this is what it looked after I applied an Irish Lace Style to it.
I love this moon that was created using Jill’s Filigree Maker Action.
And with a lace style applied:
All of these style effects were achieved with NO adjustments to the style. While these styles do work best with thin lines, you may certainly make adjustments to the style as you like to suit your needs.
I have included one of the lace styles in grayscale format to make it easy for you to recolor as you like! Come back tomorrow and I’ll show you how to do that!
If you would like to have a doily to get your collection started, click on the image below to download one that Jill created for you with Manu’s Action and my Irish Lace 02 Styles.
